Ingredients

1: can 16 oz cherry pie filling with syrup

1: can 16 oz crushed pineapple

1: box yellow or white cake mix

3: tablespoons butter

Directions

1 Preheat oven to 350.
2 Dump cherries into a 13 x 9 inch cake pan spread evenly.
3 Next dump pineapple spread evenly.
4 Cover with dry cake mix evenly.
5 In small cup melt butter in microwave.
6 Spoon butter over cake mix.
7 Bake for 45 - 60 minutes or golden brown.
8 Let cool.

Im trying it now with pineapple cake mix with crushed pineapple and cheery pie filling... cant wait!!!!!

I got creative with the dump cake. Use 2 cans of apple pie filling and a french vanilla cake with the butter. It makes the easiest and best apple cobbler. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. I have also used cherry and blueberry pie filling. This is such a scrumptious yummy dessert. It is just too good to be that easy.

I love these dump cakes, there are so many different ones you can make. My favorite is Apple spice. Use spice cake mix and appl pie filling. Sooo good with ice cream.

My grandma used to make this cake, it was heavenly. Brings back many happy memories:)
