These are delicious! I didn't have two rolls of sugar cookie dough on hand so I substituted chocolate chip cookie dough on the bottom. My family loved them!

These are delicious and very sweet! I did not drizzle caramel over the top because I thought they were already sweet enough. I will definately make these again since everyone loved them so much!

I tried a little bit of the first batch I made for a teacher's function. They were definitely yummy, but I can see how some would say they are too sweet. The were hard to cut and didn't keep their shape within the first few hours of cooking, but were perfectly easy to cut and retained their shape after I left them out overnight. The second time I made it for my family. I put the bars in a bowl, warmed it up in the microwave and added some vanilla ice cream to the top. Was even better! Not too sweet that way.

PS. Kraft makes "caramel bits" that come in a 11 oz bag. You don't miss the extra 3 ounces and you don't have to unwrap all the caramels. :-)

I have made this twice for work now and had to hand out multiple copies of the recipe. It is VERY popular!! I use fat-free sweet condense milk and have discovered one large sugar cookie package is enough. Use all but a cup of the dough mix for the bottom 'crust' and then use the remainder for the top crust...just drop small pieces of it over the top. After its out of the oven, I drizzled about a 1/3 cup of melted white chocolate and then sprinkled with 1/2 cup of mini choc chips. I cut it into about one inch squares because it is so rich, a little bit goes a long way. :-)

I made these but I made some major changes that makes them extra good, but NOT SO SWEET!! I eliminated all the brown sugar from the recipe, I did not notice any texture change from the first time I made these (and followed the recipe) I then doubled the vanilla and drizzed a bit more caramel topping over them when they were baked. I also added a cup of semi sweet chocolate chips to the top of the bars just before I baked them.

These did not work for me. Cookie top cracked and flaked as I tried to cut them. Caramel layer was too sweet. Very difficult to remove from the pan. Flavor not very good. Took to a party and people didn not like them.

Everyone loves these. I was proposed to because of these bars. They're all gone in no time. I pass on the recipe constantly.

I made these for a Cinco de Mayo party. They were a HUGE hit...had to print off the recipe for everyone. These were eaten before the tacos and other goodies! I will DEFINIITELY make them again!

I wasn't crazy about these. The flavor was good and everyone said they liked them, but I ended up throwing half of them away because they weren't being eaten. I probably won't make these again.
