Several ingredients but worth it. Made on 2 seperate occassions but used the same batch of spread. 1, one night and then the next. Made fresh bread for each. Both groups loved it. Elegant enough to use for a dinner party appetizer.

I doubled this recipe but used only 1 can of artichoke hearts, chopped. Rave reviews on 2 seperate occassions.

Can prepare the bread through the broiling step ahead of time. Can prepare the spread the day before and then spread on bread just before broiling. Can also use part 1st night and part the next day with fresh loaf of crusty bread.
