Doorknob Frank

Ingredients

  • White tissue paper
  • Scissors
  • 2 sheets black craft foam (18x12-inch; 2 mm thick)
  • 1 sheet green craft foam (18x12 inch; 2 mm thick)
  • 1 sheet red craft foam (18x12-inch; 2 mm thick)
  • Tacky craft glue or low-temperature hot melt glue
  • 8 googly eyes (3/4 inch), if desired
  • Black permanent marker

    To make each doorknob Frank, use tissue paper to trace pattern pieces A (outlined in black), B (outlined in green and C (red). With scissors, cut 4 pieces of pattern A from black craft foam, cut 4 pieces of pattern B from green craft foam and cut 4 pieces of pattern C from red craft foam. With scissors, cut jagged hair edges in black foam as desired. with scissors, cut wavy lines on green foam as desired. Cut on solid black lines to create the opening for doorknob.

    Squeeze craft glue on green craft foam as shown on pattern; position black foam on top of green foam and press glued area to seal.

    With remaining black craft foam, red craft foam, googly eyes, black marker and craft glue, create facial features, bolts and stitches as shown as photo.

  • This is a great craft for party-goers. Note to moms: Trace the pattern pieces ahead of time. The kids can get to the fun faster in the patterns are ready for them.
