Bag of Dirty Rice Mix from Louisiana Fish Fry Products
1lb of Ground Meat (Turkey, Beef, Chicken, or Sausage)
Cayenne Pepper, for a spicier dish
Pepper Jack Cheese, sliced or cubed

Cans (8 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

  • 1 In a saucepan, brown 1 lb of ground meat. Drain.
  • 2 Add 2.75 cups of water & Dirty Rice Mix. Bring to boil. Reduce heat & cook covered for 25-30 mins.
  • 3 Heat oven to 350°F. Combine 16 crescent triangles in pairs to form 8 larger triangles.
  • 4 Pour cooked Dirty Rice onto each sheet of dough and top with 1 to 2 slices of Pepper Jack Cheese.
  • 5 Fold dough over and press
  • 6 Place on a lightly greased glass pan and bake 15 to 19 minutes or until golden brown.
