Decadent Chocolate Pie

A simple, to-die-for chocolate pie (think mega-indulgent) has two easy topping options: Salted Rum Caramel Sauce or Raspberry Cocktail Coulis.

I made this for a special Valentine's dessert and it was delicious! Very rich and creamy, and so easy to make! I skipped the toppings and just used whipped cream. My husband isn't always a fan of chocolate, so I was surprised that when it was gone, he said he missed having it too! Guess that makes it a hit- definately a keeper for me!

This could be one of the BEST things that i have ever eaten!! I made it for my family for Valentine's day and all they kept saying was, "OH.....this is awesome!" I did make it crustless however. I just did everything the same way, sprayed the pie plate and baked it and it was amazing!!! You HAVE to have the raspberry sauce with it though!!

OMG! The first time I made this was at xmas, it went so fast I only got to have a few crumbs. I just made this again for Valentines day. It was so rich and chocolatey. I did not use the rum sauce this time, but opted for a scoop of coffee ice cream instead. I have spent hours beating egg yolks and mixing them with whipped egg whites and heavy cream to get the same results of something that really only took minutes to throw together. I am in love.
