Date and Blue Cheese Bread Twists

These date and crumbled blue cheese topped Pillsbury® original breadsticks are a welcome addition to any bread basket. The sweet-savory twists are crusty on the outside and tender inside.

Ingredients

can (11 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated original breadsticks
1/2
cup crumbled blue cheese (2 oz)
1/3
cup chopped pitted dates
2
teaspoons olive oil
1/8
teaspoon coarse sea salt
  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Line cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper.
  • 2 Unroll dough; sprinkle with blue cheese and dates. Cover with waxed paper; press cheese and dates into dough using rolling pin. Remove waxed paper. Cut dough into 12 strips with kitchen scissors. Fold each breadstick in half lengthwise; pinch ends to seal in filling. Twist each dough strip 6 times, stretching slightly. On cookie sheet, place strips 1 inch apart. Firmly press down ends. Brush with oil; sprinkle with salt.
  • 3 Bake 14 to 16 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
