Although everyone enjoyed this, it was horrible to make. Could not see where one could unroll the french loaf. Pulled it apart somewhat and them tried to stretch/press it in the pan. Didn't look very good. Any hints on how to get the dough unrolled? I also doubled the recipe so that if I had been able to unroll the dough, I would use 2 and put one on top of the other for more servings.

Made this last weekend for company. Did not have any dried dark cherries, so used a package of cherry, cranberries, and golden raisins mixture. Instead of the chocolate chips, I used chocolate syrup. It came out very good, and tasted delicious.
