lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef

teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

teaspoon seasoned salt

teaspoon onion powder

teaspoon pepper

burger buns, split

lettuce leaves

medium tomatoes, thinly sliced

Directions

  1. 1 Heat gas or charcoal grill. In large bowl, mix ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, onion powder and pepper until well blended. Shape mixture into 8 patties, about 3/4 inch thick.
  2. 2 Place patties on grill. Cover grill; cook over medium heat 13 to 15 minutes, turning once, until meat thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 160°F.
  3. 3 Layer buns with lettuce, tomato slices and burger patties. If desired, serve with ketchup, mustard, pickles and onions.
