This was okay. Nothing special...didn't really like the au jus. Seemed like it needed something other than all the meat.

I went to a small local grocer with the list of ingredients for this recipe and ended up substituting a lot. Instead of cooked pork roast, I used honey roasted turkey. Instead of country Italian bread, I had to use French. I find pepper Jack cheese to be too spicy, so I bought Provolone, Aged Swiss and Sharp White Cheddar instead. I know it sounds like I hardly followed the recipe at all, but when I''m in the kitchen recipes are only suggestions and guides for times and temperatures. Recipes like this that can easily be customized to my family''s individual tastes are always keepers!

This was very easy to make and tasted great!! A little too spicy for my younger children, but my teenager and her friend loved it! Regular jack cheese would likely be just as tasty!

This recipe was fabulous! We couldn''t find the italian loaf in our grocery store, so substituted with the pizza crust, and it worked fine. We will DEFINITELY be making this again!!!
