This is a family favorite that I have been making for Christmas morning for several years. This year we are having a New Years Eve party and I am planning to make this for a midnight breakfast! Yummy!!!! Is 10 stars possible?? :D

This was as good as it looks in the picture. I made it for Mother's Day and everybody could not stop raving about it. My brother-in-law said he usually does not eat french toast because it is boring but he loved this. I made it the night before and froze overnight and it worked out great. I had a few pieces left so I reheated in the oven and they were just as crunchy and good as the day I made them. I served with strawberries, whip cream and powdered sugar.

This is a recipe I made years ago, lost & will make again. Great brunch dish. It's delicious, easy & the fact you can make ahead & freeze is a real bonus! To be truly decadent, serve with fresh whipped cream. Try it, I think you'll love it.
