Ingredients

cup packed brown sugar

cup butter or margarine, softened

cup vegetable oil

teaspoon vanilla

teaspoon cream of tartar

cups small pretzel twists, coarsely crushed

cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats

cup Wheaties™ cereal or Country® Corn Flakes cereal, slightly crushed

cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

cup butterscotch-flavored chips

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, beat sugars, butter, oil, vanilla and eggs with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, or mix with spoon. Stir in flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  2. 2 On ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart.
  3. 3 Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until light brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
