large apple or pear, cut into bite-size pieces

large stalk celery, sliced
1/4
cup raisins or peanuts, if desired
1/4
cup reduced-fat ranch salad dressing or mayonnaise
Lettuce leaves
1
cup Cheerios® or MultiGrain Cheerios® cereal, slightly crushed

Directions

  • 1 In medium bowl, mix apple, celery, raisins and dressing until blended. Refrigerate until serving time.
  • 2 Just before serving, arrange lettuce leaves in 4 salad bowls or on plates. Spoon apple mixture over lettuce. Top each serving with 1/4 cup cereal. Serve immediately.

Was a big hit. I didn't use the cereal or the lettuce since I was serving a green salad with my pot pie which was another big hit.
