Ingredients

Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
Philadelphia Onion and Chive Cream Cheese
6
eggs
1/2
tomato
1/4
green pepper
1/4
onion
6
slices bacon
Shredded cheddar
Pinch salt/pepper

  • 1 Preheat oven to 375.
  • 2 Cook bacon first so it has time to crisp and cool; crumble when finished. Set aside.
  • 3 Dice green pepper/onion/tomato.
  • 4 Scramble eggs with diced tomatoes, green pepper, and crumbled bacon. Sprinkle with salt/black pepper
  • 5 Unroll crescent rolls onto a cookie sheet. Do not grease cookie sheet. Spread with cream cheese.
  • 6 Sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Add scrambled egg/bacon/veggie mixture.
  • 7 Roll crescent rolls into shape. Place on cookie sheet 1 inch apart.
  • 8 Bake according to directions on crescent roll package.
  • 9 Let cool for one minute; serve and enjoy!

I used ham instead of the bacon and omitted the tomatoes completely. I also used Philly Cream Cheese Vegetable spread as its the only thing I had on hand. turned out really well. Hubby loved it! ;)

Substitute bacon for sausage or ham. Eggs for egg whites. Add spinach or mushrooms. Add salsa or sour cream as a dipping sauce (do not add salsa or sour cream inside rolls otherwise they will not cook correctly). You may need to adjust the cook time for the crescents once they're baking. Stuffed crescent rolls need to cook a bit longer than plain rolls because they have filling.
