ok so a lot of people seem to be confused about the "fold diagonally" instruction so maybe this will help. So you have two triangles attached to each other which makes a square right? so what you do is take the top right corner and fold it downward and across the dough til it meets the lower left corner. Or take the top left and fold it to the bottom right, whatever your preference. Boom! you've got cute little triangle pizza pouches now! hope this helps.

Simple and easy. Would do again with suggestions I didn't read before. It's a little tricky to use as is and fold over the dough and make it a triangle.

this recipe can be modified in so many ways such as tender steak and blue cheese or steak and mushroom for steak I use a tenderloin you can also add vegetables and sausage and ham one note I it required to precook things like mushroom, vegetables chicken and sausage as the time in the croissant is not sufficient to tenderize/cook safely some items like sausage but remember not to cook the ingredients totally as it will cook a little in the pastry

Made these for dinner tonight with a few modifications based on other reviews...I used crescent dough SHEETS to avoid any leaking crescent ROLL seams. I made two pizza pockets out of each canister of dough...just rolled out the dough and cut it in half. I skipped the pizza sauce to avoid any sogginess. I used about 1 Tbsp diced fresh tomato(seeds removed) in each pizza roll instead. Also added about 1 Tbsp ricotta cheese to each. I sprinkled each with a little bit of Italian Seasoning blend to make up for the lack of pizza sauce flavor. Baked at 375 for 18 minutes...Perfection. Got rave review

Okay after reading most of the reviews this is my input on this recipe...I opened the can (crazy right?) and spread the dough out and then rolled into a large rectangle. From that I was able to cut it into six squares, which made more sense to be able to "fold diagonal". I put my toppings MINUS the sauce on one side of the square, folded and crimped and it worked GREAT! (I also brushed the outside with egg white) After baking the kids and I just dipped our pockets into sauce. It made sense to me, hope this helps.
