It took quite awhile to wrap them. Next time, I would premake them the night before, refrigerate overnight, set out to room temperature, and then bake before meal time.

Directions

1 Use your favorite frank or sausage. I chose a Chicken sausage with smoked mozzarella with Artichoke & Garlic by Bistro Sensations I found at Walmart. Assemble the other products in a line of order. Using the crescent rolls, unroll dough; separate at perforations, creating 4 rectangles. Press perforations to seal. I then cut each rect. into half, then 5 strips out of each, into piles of 4.
2 I cut the sausages & franks into half, set aside. I cut the american slices into 4 lengthwise strips. Insert a strip in between the franks. (When using a smaller frank under, push up to top.)I used the larger sausage half on top and smaller franks underneath. So the bottom half was moved up to the top to give a better affect. Use 4 pieces of dough around each frank for each one. I started at the head area to give a covered top appearance. Take your time wrapping, stretching dough slightly to completely cover frank.. About 1/2 inch from one end of each frank, separate
3 On an ungreased large cookie sheet, place wrapped franks; spray dough lightly with cooking spray. Bake 13-17 minutes or until dough is light golden brown and franks are hot. Cool a bit, then with mustard, draw eyes, features on the
