can crescent rolls
4
oz cream cheese
6-8
oz cooked shreaded chicken - OK to use canned chicken

Directions

  • 1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • 2 Unroll dough leaving 2 crescents together - you end up with 4 rectangles
  • 3 Lay rectangles of dough on an ungreased cookie sheet
  • 4 Pinch togther the seam on each rectangle
  • 5 Soften cream cheese - 30 seconds on 50% power in the microwave is sufficient.
  • 6 Divide the chicken mix on to the four dough rectangles
  • 7 Lift the corners of the dough and twist and pinch them over the center of the pie.
  • 8 Bake for 11 to 13 minutes or until rolls are golden brown.

I doubled this recipe and then added mushrooms in the chicken mixture. After folding the ends over, I sprinkled cheddar cheese on top. It was easy, quick, and delicious

Chicken can be replaced with tuna, salmon, beef, pork or steamed veggies. If you have leftovers, they are great cold!
