I made these for a christmas party at my work and they were a huge hit!! I used sharp cheddar instead of swiss because I'm not a fan of swiss, and they still turned out great!

I used the filling for the middle of the crescent rolls. It was MUCH easier and less messier than the tartlets.

I've made something very similar to this recipe using separated GRANDS biscuits instead of crescents! It is a little less work!

Can we say TOO GOOD?! I found this recipe in time for Christmas last year and put them out so that we could eat and open our gifts. I did not get one! I tried again next morn...no luck. I was not able to get one! So...in trying to outsmart them all, the next time I made them, I did not tell anyone. I prepared coffee, these yummies, fruit; and then I needed to walk the dogs. ARGH! When I came back, they were gone! So...as I started, can we say these are TOO GOOD? So good that I can't one. Wish me luck...I'm doing it again this year and will triple the recipe!

Made this am for 5 hungry boys and I didn't get one. I used a rolling pen to thin out Reduced Fat Crescent dough and added 4 Fiesta Cheese, Hormel 50% less fat Real Bacon Bits, 2% Cheddar, Honey Ham and sprayed low-fat butter on before adding ingredients. I did get 1 bite of my husbands and thought it was very good. I left out onions. Thanks. I agree that this would be good with Spinach and Mushroom. I would add Artichoke. Just a thought.

I made these Christmas morning using monterey jack cheese instead of swiss and we all loved them. I made both mini and regular muffin sized. Even though they had the same ingredients and I doubled the filling for the regular muffin sized ones, the regular muffin sized one looked better, but the mini muffin ones were much more flavorful. I also made some yesterday with montereey cheese and spinach instead of bacon and they were a big hit with the kids. My only suggestions are to pour the egg and cream mixture slowly and to spray pam in the pan for easy removal.
