This is just okay. It looks like it would be very rich tasting, but in actuality it was kind of bland. The only flavor there was came from the red pepper flakes. I had high hopes for this recipe and was disappointed.

My family went bonkers over this recipe! It was amazingly good! My husband is not a fan of alfredo and he loved this dish! And it was great the next day too because the shrimp soaked up all the wonderful chowder flavors. I used thick and hearty clam chowder and blended it. This is a keeper in my family!

This is a very tasty recipe. Next time I make this (and I will make it again) I will cut the mushrooms up a little smaller but that is more of a personal preference. Flavor was great without all the work...my daughter loves shrimp so she thinks this is a great dish and it is good enough to serve if you have folks over. Not really dinner party fare but nice and tasty for extended family to come over.

Made this dish last night as it sounded really good. Served it with a salad and rolls. I asked my husband how he liked it, as you have to pry everything out of him. His response was the usual, well how did YOU like it. I told him what the comments of other cooks had been. He said it was just a little to "pasty" to suit him, and needed something to give it a little zing. He put Tabasco sauce on his and said it improved it somewhat. Guess I won't be making this again.

I made this for my nephew's birthday dinner and it was delicious! Very easy to make. The only modification that I made was using frozen mixed seafood instead of just shrimp. The sauce was thick after being in the blender and it was overall a huge success!! Thanks!
