As Kennad points out there is a difference between prep time and finish time. Also prep time usually assumes the ingredients are ready to go.I have read many reviews that say the prep was 10 minutes but it took them an hour to chop vegetables. When you see prep it assumes everything is ready to go and that is usually mixing, shaping or preparing recipes such as for cookies. I think many people misread this simple tip and read more into it than they should and blame the site.

5 minutes prep is to chop the mushrooms. that is all the prep you have. The rest is just adding to the cooking process.

I haven't tried this recipe yet, but it says 5 minutes PREP. 5 minutes to chop mushrooms. About 30 minutes to do the rest.

I would just like to know how the prep time is listed as 5 minutes? Reading through the directions it would obviously take at least 20 minutes.
