Made this for my Grandpa's birthday party and EVERYONE loved it! It's a keeper! I did use the whole 8oz of cream cheese and only about 4 oz of the limeade which was just perfect. I could not find coconut cream jello pie filling anywhere where I live so I used lemon flavor pie filling instead and it turned out great!

I agree with the previous posters: I think the 3 oz of cream cheese is a misprint and it should be 8 oz. My batter was very soupy and didn't firm up (even after a couple of hours in the fridge) until I added more cream cheese. Also, I think this pie might be better using a graham cracker crust.

All I can say is: Easy to make. Light and refreshing. Will make it again. Just one thought, Use about 3-4 ounces of limeade only to cut the tartness.

Well, the end result of this recipe was decent, but the trip there wasn''t much fun. I had a hard time using the mixer on these ingredients, which could have been partly because the recipe says 3oz of cream cheese and I think it should really be 8. I ended up adding the other 5oz at the end because it was way too soupy. The pie is kind of good but very tart; the limeade is the only thing you can taste. I would recommend diluting it.

6 ounces of limeade is too tart. It over-rides the coconut. I will try it again using 4 or 5 ounces of the limeade.
