Ingredients

(15-oz.) can black beans, drained, rinsed

(8-oz.) pkg. 1/3-less-fat cream cheese (Neufchâtel), softened
1/3
cup chopped red onion

tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1/2
teaspoon chili powder
1/4
teaspoon cumin
1/4
teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/4
teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1
garlic clove, minced
1/2
jalapeño chile, chopped

tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or cilantro

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 375°F. In food processor bowl with metal blade, combine all ingredients except parsley; process until well blended. Spread mixture in ungreased 9-inch pie pan.
  2. 2 Bake at 375°F. for 15 minutes or until hot. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve with cut-up fresh vegetables or baked tortilla chips.
