Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

A delicious, creamy, thick soup. A fantastic crock pot meal that can be put together and forgotten about. The leftovers are my favorite filling for homemade chicken pot pie!

I used this recipe as it was except I added the rice for the last 2 hours of cooking because I am afraid of mushy rice turned out great!!!

If you prefer a thinner soup, use only 1 box of Rice A Roni. When I've been out of Cream of Potato Soup, I have substituted Cream of Chicken and added approx. 3 cups of diced red potatoes directly after the layer of chicken. I like to use the leftovers as filling for chicken pot pie.
