cups Progresso® chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)

tablespoon all-purpose flour
1
bag (24 oz) Green Giant® Valley Fresh Steamers® frozen pasta, broccoli, carrots & cheese sauce
2
cups cubed cooked chicken
1
container (8 oz) reduced-fat sour cream

  • 1 In large saucepan, mix broth and flour until well blended. Add frozen pasta with vegetables. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender.
  • 2 Stir in chicken and sour cream. Cook 2 to 4 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

be very careful to not let the soup boil while it's cooking both cheese and sour cream will curdle if the soup boils.

This is a great soup to enjoy all year long, I loved the taste and the easy preparation.

my friend works as a baker at a resturant and says this is better than most soups she has sampled.As for myself, it is ideal for older ladies watching their girlishfigures.Very filling and delious,

oops! forgot to say that I didn't add any water mentioned in the directions....must have been a mistake there..........
