be very careful to not let the soup boil while it's cooking both cheese and sour cream will curdle if the soup boils.

I am giving this recipe a 5 because I modified it to save calories, and I think that for a "Light" recipe, it turned out pretty well. I left out the chicken and used some chicken bouillon granules (tsp.) for a little extra flavor. I also used the vegetables just in cheese sauce without the pasta to make it even lighter. I did have to use more thickening over the tbsp. of flour, however, because it was too runny for me. I used 2 tbsp. of tapioca flour instead of regular flour because I had it on hand. It was good on a cold day!

The directions say mix broth, water and flour-however the ingredients do not list how much water?? Any ideas? It sounds super easy and good but I do not want to mess it up.

This is super easy and very tasty. I didn't put the full amount of sour cream because I am not a big fan of sour cream. I will be making the again.
