Creamed Mushroom Smothered Chicken

Ingredients

Chicken wings, legs or thighs (according to how many servings you need)
1
can of cream of mushroom soup
1/2
can of cream of chicken soup
2
diced celery stalks
1/2
yellow onion
salt and pepper to taste
1
tbsp margarine or butter
3
cups of water
Rice or Pasta

  • 1 Add salt, pepper, celery, onion and mix with chicken thoroughly in a bowl.
  • 2 Put chicken and mixture in slow cooker. Melt margarine or butter and pour over chicken.
  • 3 In a separate bowl mix the cream of chicken soup and 1/2 cup of water. Make sure water is absorbed well into soup. Pour over chicken in slow cooker. Add 3 cups of water and cover.
  • 4 Set slow cooker to desired setting, which should be between 4-8 hours. Once chicken and soup are
  • 5 done, take can of Cream of Mushroom soup and mix with 1 cup of water and add to slow cooker and let
  • 6 simmer for approximately 15 minutes to 1/2 hour. Servce with either rice or pasta and enjoy.
