This is delicious! I think the instructions are poorly written, however. I really had a hard time understanding what it meant when it said to fold the dough in half into a single layer. What you do is fold it in half, laying the halves beside one another. I pressed the two halves together, trying to close the opening caused from laying the dough side by side. I also cut the cream cheese into 20 pieces. I did not understand why you needed 24 pieces when there were only 20 pieces of cinnamon rolls. It was a big hit at the brunch It really is delicious!

Yummmmmm!! And, fairly easy. It does take a few minutes more than I expected to "stuff" the cream cheese, but every second is worth it. Step 5 on the recipe kind of confusing (maybe because I am not a cook) -- but you just lay the rectangles (not balls) in the pan. I also spread chopped pecans inside and on top. We make the other Monkey Bread for Holidays and my kids were freaking out that I tried something new, but they all LOVED it.

I don't know why there aren't other reviews...people need to try this simple recipe...It is absolutely delicious. My suggestion...have many cans on hand because as soon as it is done it will be GONE!!! and you will want more...I had some extra creamcheese so I just tucked it in different places...

I cannot believe there are no ratings on this! I've made this a couple of times in the past, oh, say 5 years or so, and it is addictive! The cream cheese is what makes it. I made according to directions, took it out of the oven and it was gone before I could count to 20. My hubby & son absolutely love it. (I too love it...:) It is so much better than it may sound. Give it a try. It's delish! A little time-consuming forming the bread around the cream cheese, but well worth it.
