I made a batch with the directions I just typed. The mix was still dry and crumbly and didn't form a dough, so I added close to 1/2 cup of water. This formed a dough, but one that spread out a lot during baking. Not terrible. Now I have extra large cookies and the flavor is really good. Will make again and experiment with either adding less water, or adding an extra egg, or a combination of both.

I found this recipe in a Pillsbury Family Christmas Cookbook 2002. 3/4 cup margarine or butter, softened 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 egg Contents of jar of mix Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray cookie sheets with nonstick cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine margarine, vanilla and egg. Beat well. Add contents of jar, mix until well blended. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake for 9-12 minutes until edges are golden brown. Cool 1 minutes. Remove from sheets. 24 Cookies. High Altitude (above 3500 feet) add 3 TBLS of flour to contents of jar. Bake as directed.

I have not found it anywhere in the Pillsbury site...a little upsetting as the recipe sounds DELICIOUS!

I must be missing something. I don't see the cookie recipe - only the mix. My guess would be to add 1 egg, 1/2 teas brandy, rum or vanilla extract and 1/2 c butter to the mix, drop by teaspoon and to bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
