Easy to make and a great change of pace from more traditional holiday cookies. These have become an annual must-have in our house. Can only find the Quick Bread mix at the local high end grocers, but it's worth the special trip!

I would love to make these, but can't find the Cranberry Quick bread mix anywhere. Where do you buy it?

Excellent cookie but I would add a cost-saving tip here. I never use Craisins because of the cost. I buy fresh cranberries around the holidays and freeze them. Whenever a recipe calls for Craisins, I substitute fresh that I chop in my food processor and the recipe always works and has the bite that real cranberries have. Use the same amount of fresh chopped as you would Craisins. They are also much more nutritious for your family!

I have been making these cookies every Christmas for at least eight years. Everyone loves them, even those who aren't fans of coconut. I do use more Craisins and orange zest than the recipe calls for. I also use 1T of orange juice rather than water. They have become a family favorite!

This recipe was excellant. I didn't use coconut, rolled oats or orange peel. due to not having them on hand, and I didn't use the water, because I didn't have the oats, but I did use almonds and chocolate morsels. Along with the rest of the recipe. Thank you. Came out great. Can't wait to try when I get to the store for the rest of the ingredients.

I LOVE these cookies. So easy to make and everyone loves them. I use the orange-flavored Craisins and they come out great.

These were very good, nice and soft. But the time to bake came out better at eight and a half minutes. Depending on your oven of course. Mine gets hot.
