Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb boneless pork shoulder roast, trimmed of fat
  • 1 can (16 oz) whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 package (1 oz) onion soup mix (from 2-oz box)

Steps

    In 3- to 4-quart slow cooker, place roast. In small bowl, mix cranberry sauce and soup mix; spread over roast.

    Cover; cook on Low heat setting 8 to 9 hours or until pork is tender.

    Remove pork and cut into slices; serve with sauce.

    Whole berry cranberry sauce makes a prettier sauce but jellied cranberry sauce can be used. Serve broccoli spears and bread stuffing for an easy, tasty meal.
