I was just wondering a good substitute would be for the walnuts in this? I have friends/family who are allergic to these specific nuts...toasted almonds maybe?

THESE WERE EASY AND DELICIOUS. I'VE MADE THEM A COUPLE OF TIMES AND THIS LAST TIME I BAKED THE BUITS IN THE MORNING AND HEATED THEM WITH THE CHEESE AND CHUTNEY. THEY CAME OUT ALMOST AS GOOD AS WHEN I DID IT THE OTHER WAY. EITHER WAY THEY WILL BE ON MY LIST AS GREAT.

Every time I serve or bring this to a party, someone always wants the recipe.
