package (3 oz) cream cheese, softened

container (6 oz) Greek Fat Free plain yogurt

cup chopped fresh basil leaves

tablespoons finely chopped green onion (2 medium)

teaspoon grated lemon peel

teaspoons lemon juice

teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)

cup frozen (thawed) chopped salad-style imitation crabmeat

large red bell peppers
Small basil leaves or chopped fresh basil leaves, if desired

Directions

  1. 1 In small bowl, beat cream cheese with electric mixer on low speed until creamy. Beat in yogurt until well blended. Stir in 1/4 cup chopped basil, the green onions, lemon peel, lemon juice, ground red pepper and crabmeat.
  2. 2 Cut each bell pepper into 15 (1 1/4-inch) squares. Spoon rounded teaspoonful crab mixture onto each bell pepper piece. Garnish with basil leaves.
