AI friend of mine made the country apple cake with caramel sauce but could not find the pillsbury quick nut bread mix.
Why is it so hard to get? I want to make it for thanksgiving but I can't find the mix either. Anyone know why?

I have used this recipe over and over again. It''s great for casual entertaining as well as a family staple. Occasionally, I''ll "cheat" and use a prepared caramel sauce, but I''m not as impressed with the results when I do that.
