EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Black beans, also called turtle beans, are a staple in Caribbean and Central and South American cuisines. These small, shiny purple-black beans have an ivory-colored inside and a mild sweet flavor.

Depending on our affinity for spicy food, use mild, medium or hot salsa in these Southwest-style wraps.

Serve these wraps with extra salsa and round out the meal with blue corn chips, orange slices and milk.
