Corn Amandine

Crunchy almonds pair well with sweet and tender whole kernel corn. The simple side dish is ready in 20 minutes!

cup slivered almonds

bag (1 lb) Green Giant™ Niblets® frozen whole kernel corn

cup water

teaspoon chicken bouillon granules

teaspoon garlic powder
1/8
teaspoon pepper

tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 In 10-inch skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Cook almonds in butter about 8 minutes, stirring frequently, until golden.
  • 2 Stir in corn, water, bouillon granules, garlic powder and pepper. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally; reduce heat. Cover; simmer 3 to 5 minutes or until corn is tender. Sprinkle with parsley.
