just made this recipe but cut apples smaller and cut the dough in small cubes and put into cupcake papers for easy serving!! I forfeit the added cinnamon/sugar on the top as I thought the apples were sweet enough.

I love this recipe! Such an easy and quick topping! I used the ready-to-bake sugar cookies for a doubled-size recipe in a 13x10 pan and topped the apples by placing 24 cookies and it worked great! Also nice for serving, since the cookies created natural serving boundaries. I use subbed Splenda for the sugar and did add raisins one time.

Made this but added some fresh cranberries. It made it a bit less sweet and added some great flavor. Great recipe. Easy and yummy

This recipe was in a Pillsbury booklet a number of years ago, and I it was excellent. My husband and son loved it - easy and tasty!
