  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, mix apples, brown sugar, flour, 1 teaspoon of the cinnamon, the allspice and lemon juice; toss to coat apples well. Spoon into ungreased 9 1/2-inch glass deep-dish pie plate.
  • 2 Spoon cookie dough, by scant teaspoons, evenly over apples. In small bowl, mix granulated sugar and remaining 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon; sprinkle evenly over cookie dough.
  • 3 Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until top is golden brown and apples are tender.

This Cookie Apple Cobbler is DELICIOUS! I was looking for a new twist on Apple pie for Thanksgiving this year & I found this recipe. I make just one and within 10 minutes this dessert was GONE & everyone who had some was asking for more & the family members who hadn't gotten there quick enough were asking me to make more right then and there! I even made these in a cupcake pan for individual ones, and they came out great too! This is a must have for family dinners/gatherings/parties & even for an every night dessert. It's not too sweet where it'll hurt your teeth & it won't make you feel so fu
