Easy to make and delicious! I agree with the other reviewa using the shortbread crust and/or the banana on the crust before adding the filling. Great with your favorite ice cream! Better than any coconut cream/custard pie we have bought before I decided to try making one myself!

I used a premade shortbread crust. Other than that, this was an AWESOME recipe!

I think I'll add a layer of bananna on the crust before filing the pie crust, and just maybe some chocolate ice cream topping drizzled on the top? Yum

This is the exact recipe I have been making for years. I actually got it from Southern Living magazine. It is fantastic! I know people who do not even like coconut that ask me to make this pie. I have had the recipe requested numerous times. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
