Instead of making the sauce, I used cream of potato soup! I also added a teaspoon of ground thyme!

used this recipe today, and thought it seemed a little bland, so I added some garlic (sautee with the onions)nand some chopped fresh parsley (after the roux was starting to thicken). Ran out of chicken stock, so used the chicken drippings from seasoned chicken thighs (poultry seasoning, celery salt) to round off the mesurement. the roux tasted delicious and my family loved it! thanks for the great base!

Easy to make - my 9 year old niece and I prepared this tonight with leftover turkey from Christmas. Turned out great - they both had two helpings! It was a big hit!

I made this chicken pot pie for the first time last weekend. I used a rotisserie chicken, and it was super easy. If I had to change anything, I would use a little poultry seasoning to add a little more flavor, other than that A+.

I make this recipe vegetarian by trading the chicken for Quorn brand vegetarian chicken peices and vegetable broth instead of chicken broth. It's really excellent! Nobody has been able to tell that it's vegetarian. Most don't even believe it after I tell them. Great recipe!
