I found that my rolls did not stick at all, very little spray needed, but I did NOT enjoy these. They tasted like regular cinnamon rolls, just flattened and slightly crunchy. I like my cinnamon rolls fluffy and soft, and my husband didn't care for these either.

We cooked these on the lowest waffle setting (1 of 5) and had no problems with them sticking. They cooked for about 4 minutes (the length of the normal waffle cycle) and were perfect. The icing really did make them though.

My assumption with the ruined waffle irons is the heat is too high. Turn it down if you have that option. if not use a different style waffle iron.
I first tried this with the same setting I cooked waffles on and they were burnt within 45 seconds to a minute. based on the recommended 3-4 minute cook time temps need to come way down which will likely cause less melting of the sugars.

I am stumped as to why so many had a problems with the rolls sticking on the waffle iron. I made sure I sprayed mine each time, and the waffles came out wonderfully!

Can't see how these people could have had trouble cleaning waffle iron? We've been making these for our grand kids for years. Did you ice before you cooked they!!!!

What a mess! I ended up throwing my waffle maker away after attempting to make these ... it was easier to do that than to even try to clean it up! And YES, I did generously sprayed both sides of the maker with non-stick cooking spray. After about a minute the outside of the rolls were burned, but the insides were still raw. And they had stuck so bad that I had to pry them off. Tried a second time, and got the same result. Yuck...

Anybody giving these sweet little waffles a bad review, made them wrong. They're WONDERFUL. Super easy. Super quick. Easy like Sunday morning. My husband requests them when his Sweet Tooth comes a callin'.
They hardly take any time at all.
If you spray your waffle iron down each time, [like it says to] they will not stick, and the clean up is a breeze! We have the large, Belgian waffle maker that flips around. That shouldn't make a difference in clean up but I don't find it any harder to clean up than I would regular waffles.
Again. They're awesome! A MUST TRY! :)

These simply are NOT worth the disgusting mess they make of your waffle iron! Ask me how I know this!

Really, really good but I don't have removable waffle grids so it was a major mess to clean up

They're really, really good-but a major mess to clean off the waffle griddle.
