I made this particular pie for Thanksgiving and I used a frozen pie crust and regular raisins. Let's just say that I only got one slice of this pie, my relatives thought I bought it from a bakery and I am expected to make this pie again this Christmas :)

This pie sounds wonderful, but I have a question. Do you really put the filling into a FROZEN pie shell? I've never heard of doing that before, but it doesn't say to thaw it first.

Served with a topping of vanilla ice-cream the apple seems to burst through with warm melt in your mouth deliciousness that endures till the very last bite.Thank you again pillsbury for this wonderful addition to my ever increasing recipe box.
