Question; How do I adjust this recipe to fit a 9 x 13 pan? I see soooo many mouth watering recipes that call for an 8x8 or 9x9 pan BUT my family is a 9x13 family .... HELP! (Not the best baker in the world so I really need your help in adjusting for a 9x13.)

I poured half the batter in the pan then I spooned a mix of crushed walnuts, brown sugar, little butter then added the rest of the batter. Oh so good.

This recipe is awesome. Everyone who eats it, loves it. It is so easy to make. It is also wonderful to gift it. I split the recipe in half, and use a pan half the size to make two.

If you don't have buttermilk try mixing 1/2 cup of milk and 1/4 cup of sour cream it works just as well

Very simple to make and very delicious! I did double the recipe in order to bake it in a 13x9 baking dish. Using real buttermilk really makes the cake so moist and full of flavor. I am making it again, but this time I am adding about a cup of white raisins to the mix to see how it comes out. Tempted to add a bit of cinnamon into the batter too, but will hold off this time around.
Also very good served warm with vanilla ice cream.
