Ingredients

oz. uncooked spaghetti

teaspoon oil

medium onion, chopped

lb. lean ground turkey breast

tablespoon sugar

teaspoons chili powder

teaspoon cinnamon
1/2
teaspoon salt
1/4
teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)

(28-oz.) can crushed tomatoes, undrained
1
(15.5-oz.) can dark red kidney beans, drained, rinsed

Directions

  1. 1 Cook spaghetti to desired doneness as directed on package.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, heat oil in large nonstick saucepan or Dutch oven over medium-high heat until hot. Add onion; cook 3 to 5 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently.
  3. 3 Stir in ground turkey; cook and stir until no longer pink. Add all remaining ingredients except kidney beans. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes. Add kidney beans; simmer until thoroughly heated.
  4. 4 Drain spaghetti. To serve, spoon spaghetti into 4 individual soup bowls. Ladle turkey mixture over spaghetti.
