Ingredients

Steps

  • 1
Heat oven to 375°F. In medium bowl, break up cookie dough. Knead in flour until well blended. (DO NOT EAT RAW COOKIE DOUGH AFTER COMBINING WITH FLOUR.)
  • 2
On lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut with floured 3x1 1/2-inch stocking-shaped cookie cutter. On ungreased cookie sheet, place cutouts 1 inch apart.
  • 3
Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
  • 4
Pipe or spread red, white or green icing on top third of each cookie. Pipe or spread different color icing on bottom two-thirds of cookie. Decorate as desired with sparkling sugar or candy sprinkles.
