Ingredients

box Butter Cake mix
1
small box Instant Coconut Cream pudding mix (can sub: vanilla or banana cream)
1/2
cup water
1/2
cup dark rum
4
eggs, slightly beaten
1/2
cup oil
1
cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
Glaze:
1
stick butter
1/4
cup water
1
cup sugar
1/2
cup dark rum

Directions

  • 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously grease and flour Bundt pan. Set aside.
  • 2 Combine all ingredients through to and including the walnuts, if using. Pour into prepared Bundt pan and bake 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. After resting for about 5 minutes, loosen cake from Bundt pan without removing it.
  • 3 Prepare glaze: In a saucepan bring butter, water and sugar to a boil and boil for 6 minutes. Remove from the heat and add in the rum.
  • 4 Slowly drizzle about 1/2 the glaze over the
  • 5 cake. Let rest 10 minutes before removing cake from pan. Remove from pan onto a cake plate.
  • 6 Using a pastry brush, brush the remaining glaze over the cake until all the glaze has been used and absorbed.
