Christmas morning treat.

A year or so ago, you gave us a recipe for making a Christmas tree with crescent rolls. Do you remember this? I used round pizza pans to bake this on and gave as gifts to neighbors.

Ingredients

can crescent dinner rolls
cinnamon sugar - or brown sugar mixed with cinnamon
touch of butter if wanted
candied red and green cherries cut in halves
vanilla icing

  • 1 Do not unroll. Cut roll in half, then halve each part until you have 16 pieces.
  • 2 Place on baking sheet - one piece on top, then two, then three, etc. to shape tree, One piece remains to use for tree base.
  • 3 Sprinkle liberally with cinnamon sugar.
  • 4 Place half candied cherry in center of each piece.
  • 5 Bake at 375' for about 10 minutes or until firm to touch.
  • 6 Cool slightly and ice liberally. Serve on baking sheet.
