Ingredients

Steps

  • 1
Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, break up cookie dough. Stir or knead flour and 2 tablespoons candy sprinkles until well blended. (DO NOT EAT RAW COOKIE DOUGH AFTER COMBINING WITH FLOUR.)
  • 2
Shape dough into 30 (1 1/4-inch) balls; place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • 3
Bake 11 to 14 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
  • 4
Spread 1 teaspoon frosting on each cooled cookie; immediately top with remaining 1 tablespoon sprinkles.

  • Use a cookie scoop to make portioning cookie dough even faster and more consistent.
  • Your Christmas confetti cookies will turn out best when baked one sheet at a time on the middle oven rack.
  • Store your holiday sugar cookies with sprinkles covered in an airtight container at room temperature with waxed paper between layers.
