Chocolate Shortcake with Strawberries

Fudge brownies topped with strawberry and banana mixture to be drizzled with chocolate syrup – delightful shortcakes dessert made ready in 20 minutes!

cups sliced fresh strawberries

tablespoons sugar

(14-oz.) pkg. purchased fat-free fudge brownies

banana

pint (2 cups) nonfat vanilla ice cream

tablespoons chocolate-flavored syrup
  • 1 In medium bowl, combine strawberries and sugar; mix well. Let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  • 2 Meanwhile, cut pan of brownies in half lengthwise, forming 2 long strips. Cut each strip into 3 pieces.
  • 3 To serve, peel and slice banana. Add to strawberry mixture; toss gently. Place brownies on individual dessert plates. Top each with 1/3 cup fruit mixture and 1/3 cup sorbet. Drizzle 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup over each serving.
