After watching Chef Marcel Cocit make this pie on Thanksgiving Day, I decided to give it a try for our Thanksgiving dessert. It was so easy to make, and the results were near perfection. I followed it exactly, except my chocolate chips were milk chocolate. The recipe is that good! I give it 5 stars. Thank you, Marcel!

I saw this recipe demonstrated during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I've never made pecan pie, but it looked so easy that I gave it a try for a neighborhood gathering. Rave reviews from everyone who tasted it! I will definitely make it again and the recipe does not need a single adjustment. Perfect!

I've never made Pecan Pie or any pie for that matter but I know my hubby loves Pecan pie so I decided to give it a whirl and it is delicious! Also, as a side note, I have never even eaten Pecan pie so I had nothing to compare it to but it tasted like a yummy chocolate chip cookie w/nuts! Only recommendation is to flour the under side of the pie crust so it doesn't stick to your pan as mine did but again this was my first pie making experience.

I have yet to bake this, but would it be better with cinnamon and nutmeg added to the recipe? Would it conflict with the chocolate?
