Extremely disappointed in this recipe; which I followed to the exact requirements. I event used a rotating fan to help cool it down more quickly. When cut into, it ran like a faucet. Anyone have any idea what could have gone wrong? Why it did not harden for proper serving?

i made it the first time with the chocolate chips and it was good but i am making it for christmas with walnuts and without chocolate should be good too my family likes it better without the chocolate and the walnuts would be easier to chew but overall a really good recipe i like it and now i have something to go by :)

I did this for Thanksgiving and added Rum extract. It went over GREAT!!! So great in fact that I was asked to make two more for Christmas! :)

Absolutely the best pecan pie recipe I have ever had--being a chocoholic...of course it is the best EVER! I increased the chocolate chips to 3/4 cup but it would be amazing with just the 1/2 cup. This is a definite keeper!
